The John S. Knight Center is centrally located in the heart of downtown Akron, Ohio. The Center is located 11 miles away from Akron/Canton Airport and 30 miles from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
Interstate 77, I-76, and State Route 8 all run through downtown Akron, and are just blocks away from the Center. These major highways connect with other regional routes including I-71, I-271, and the Ohio Turnpike.
Parking is FREE in all City of Akron decks on Fridays after 6pm, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. City of Akron-owned decks include: Broadway, Cascade, CitiCenter, High/Market & Morley.
Handicapped accessible parking is available at the Broadway deck connected to the convention building by the Skywalk.
Where can I park?
The John S. Knight Center is connected by the Skywalk to a parking deck on South Broadway St. Downtown Akron also has plenty of surface lots, parking decks, and meters to park at while you attend an event at the convention center. Do you have wheelchairs?
Yes, the John S. Knight Center has standard size wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-served basis. Wheelchairs can be requested in the main lobby of the Lower Rotunda.
